Accessible locations on both sides of the gym were added to the existing bleachers in May, 2024. Bleacher inspection and other routine maintenance and minor updates were performed as well.

Elementary Boiler Update-2024 |
|
The 40+ year old elementary school heat exchangers were on their last life and were updated with increased energy efficiency boilers. Federal dollars were used for this facility update.

In 2023, due to a combination of several minor leaks and two roofs that had come to the end of their expected lives, the roofs at the elementary and middle/high building were repaired and replaced.
|

In 2022, the school district applied for and received a NSLP Equipment Assistance Grant. With the grant money, a new dishwasher and steamer were purchased, replacing existing equipment that was nearly 40 years old.

In June of 2022, due to major areas of peeling paint, the outbuildings at the ms/high school and elementary school were repainted.

BOILER UPDATE This crane, towering high above the 1920 building, carefully lowered the boiler into the school basement, setting it into the room that will be its new home for many years to come. |

NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE Many feet of new network cables were thread through the district's buildings to upgrade and enable the network to handle today's technology needs. |

Several community members volunteered their time for this update. This isn't the first time volunteers have helped make updates at the school. It's a long-standing tradition that started in 1948 when the gym was added on to the school! Updates were made to lighting, boiler and the computer network infrastructure.
