Post- Secondary Connections
Dual Credit: Gilmanton staff are working hard and communicating with Chippewa Valley Technical College to create classes that meets both high school requirements and college requirements.
Military Representatives: Military representatives visit Gilmanton High School multiple times a year, allowing students to meet with them and discuss post-secondary military options.
College Representatives: College Representatives from technical schools, UW colleges, and private colleges both in and out of state visit Gilmanton every year, providing students with the opportunity to learn about many different colleges/universities.
Career and Technical Education Opportunities
Courses at Gilmanton High School: For grades 7 through 12. Technology and Business Education (see course description book).
Online Courses through CADENC: For grades 9 through 12, speak to your school counselor for more information about online classes.
Youth Options: For grades 11 and 12, students who meet requirements can take post-secondary courses at a Wisconsin technical college, a UW System college or university, a Wisconsin tribally controlled college, or a Wisconsin private, nonprofit college.
Job Shadows: For grades 10 through 12, students are encouraged to work with their school counselor to find and participate in job shadowing.
